The​ ​fern​ ​itself​ ​is​ ​made​ ​with​ ​vegetable​ ​tanned​ ​leather​ ​while​ ​the​ ​lace​ ​will​ ​be​ ​a​ ​lighter​ ​weight​ ​upholstery​ ​or​ ​garment​ ​leather​ ​in​ ​shades​ ​of​ ​brown.​ ​The​ ​leather​ ​used​ ​will​ ​vary​ ​as​ ​we​ ​source​ ​it​ ​from​ ​factory​ ​remnants​ ​giving​ ​new​ ​life​ ​to​ ​these​ ​valuable​ ​textiles.
